GlycoBrick

These oligosaccharides are produced in an activated form containing a terminal reactive azide or alkynyl group that make possible their use as standard building blocks in click chemistry reactions. They can be used as starting material for the design of macromolecular structures such as glycopolymers, glyconanoparticules, and affinity purification columns. These oligosaccharides are produced at the gram scale by bacterial fermentation, extracted purified by standardized processes. The products are consistent with internal standards.  Fermentation process can be scaled up for oligosaccharide production on a multi kg scale.
