Arabinogalactan polysaccharide is extracted and purified from the green seaweed Codium fragile. The polysaccharide is composed of highly sulphated 3-linked β-D-galactopyranose and β-L-arabinopyranose residues.
Polysaccharide extremity is non-reduced.
