PEL101GV® - Vineyard Frost Efficacy
How can PEL101GV® frost protection efficacy be assess?
![]() |
By the Gain protection depending on total non-damaged leaf area (NDLA) PEL101GV® shows a gain protection varying from 10 to 70% with an observed average from 30% to 50%. This varying gain protection frame may be explained by a large scale of physiological and environmental parameters (Frost intensity, types of frost, Wind, Vine type, Relative Humidity…). |

|
Example of vine frost protection under controlled conditions: The following figure shows the strong link between sugar assessments in leaves and frost protection. Frost parameters were monitored by a climatic controlled room dedicated to physical constraint studies. Among all the studies done since 2003, an increase of the sugar (i.e glucose) leaf content was always correlated with a better frost resistance.

Protection Gain and PEL101GV® natural adjuvant
PEL101GV Formulation study gave better frost protection efficiency using PEL101GV natural adjuvant (under registration procedure). Used as a wetting agent it helps the active ingredient to increase plant cuticles penetrating power.
